Looking to host a community event? The Downtown Development Authority offers the following unique venues in downtown Fort Collins for meetings, performances, parties and other events.
OLD TOWN SQUARE
Old Town Square is a public space owned and managed by the DDA. The square is in the heart of downtown Fort Collins, and is surrounded by historic buildings, shops, galleries, and restaurants. The Old Town Square stage is host to many summer performances and events. To inquire about the use of Old Town Square for your special event, please download the below information and applications. Please fill out an application and submit to DDA staff. We will get together with you and go over planning the event layout, event checklist, and applicable fees. Scheduling of events is on a first come, first served basis. If you have further questions, please call the DDA at 970-484-2020.
Located at 123 North College Avenue, the ground floor atrium of the Opera Galleria is a public space that is available for community functions. (The upper levels and stairways are privately owned and are not for public use.) Art exhibits, chamber music concerts, the Winter Farmersí Markets, craft shows, and First Night Fort Collins have all used the space. Potential licensed users: Please be aware that use of the public ground floor area cannot impede regular business activity or pedestrian traffic. The soaring atrium can make sound a challenge. BAS BLEU THEATRE
The Downtown Development Authority has a public/private partnership with Bas Bleu Theatre to provide use of the facility free of charge for meetings, performances and other events. (Technology charges may apply if technical support of Bas Bleu staff is requested by the user.) The lobby and or theatre are available for use by the public on many dates throughout the year. The theatre is located at 401 Pine Street, just north of Old Town Square. To reserve your dates or for further information visit the theatre's website at basbleu.org
